Sedro-Woolley Rotary Club – Member since 2018

In July 2022, I was recognized with a Paul Harris Award. The highest form of recognition a Rotary Club can bestow is the Paul Harris Fellow. It is presented to a Rotarian or a member of the community who has made an outstanding contribution to the community. I also received the “Outstanding Club Leadership & Service Award” from Rotary District Governor Bev Harrington on March 31st, 2022. 

I currently serve on the following committees:

Sedro-Woolley Alumni & Schools Foundation – Member since 2015

The Sedro-Woolley Alumni & Schools Foundation is a non-profit 503(c)(3) that raises, manages and distributes funds in support of student education in the Sedro-Woolley School District.

The Foundation has a robust scholarship program and currently provides tens of thousands in scholarships to graduating seniors. The Foundation also has a twice-yearly classroom grant program that provides funding for innovative classroom materials and programs.

I currently serve on the following committees:

  • Fundraising
  • Scholarships
    • I currently serve as the Scholarship Chair. As chair, I have helped to welcome partnerships with several new organizations and community members in their pursuit to provide financial aid to our local students.
    • Our organization has helped to award over $515,000+ in scholarship awards since 1996.
